Under the Fig Tree

Under the Fig Tree

Sam Critchlow and Emily White

Topcliffe House Productions

Theatre

Inspired by the famous fig tree passage from Sylvia Plath's novel The Bell Jar, these semi-fictional characters gather in a pub to share their stories and fears about life, loss and regret. This devised play is written and directed as a collaborative effort by the performers themselves, so many of the stories they share are based around real experiences.
