Theatre

Shakespeare's classic that has killings, maiming, rape, live burial and cannibalism presented as a latter-day story about a crime syndicate looking to find a new leader in the money laundering business which some say Britain has become. Revenge is a traditional narrative for some of the popular gangster cult films that audiences find compelling. Retribution is a moralistic choice that our society sometimes seems to validate. Exadus offers an adaptation using postmodern visuals and music to consider the nature of violence and its disastrous effects on those it surrounds in a world absent of law and order.
