A Brief Timeline of Enemies and Friends

By: Shirley Day

Company: Waveney Valley productions

A transdiscipline piece involving dance, song, puppetry and physical theatre. Satirical, funny and heartbreaking. Suitable for adults and young people over 11. Contains some disturbing themes and monsters. Sarah and her child Barney are caught in a time loop, destined to return to a small village where a tragedy occurred; Sarah was drowned as a witch in the village pond. Every few decades she is forced to return and try and make the villagers see the error of their ways. But Sarah doesn't fit in. The crisis comes to a peak as the village carnival draws close, and Barney is given a creepy, octopus like, gas mask to wear. As the story unfolds we witness the destructive power of closed judgemental communities. Unwilling to conform, Sarah battles against prejudice, but will she have the power to break the loop? https://www.a-brief-timeline.co.uk/about Buy a ticket in advance to guarantee entry or Pay What You Want at the venue
