Four hundred years ago the most powerful Samurai Japan has seen, ruled over most of the country. His name was Oda-Nobunaga. Although he loved his sister, Oichi-No-Kata, he forced her to marry an enemy Samurai from The Asai family. Thus Oichi-No-Kata had to lead an unhappy life. After some years, however, Nobunaga lost his power when his own followers defeated him. Just before Nobunaga Committed ritual suicide, the Demi-god offers him a chance to Repeat his life, but this time in the chaotic urban jungle of Tokyo in the year 1994. A GEISHA Samurai is a solo theatre performance fusing traditional l with modern Japanese theatre, reflecting the complicity of modern life in a deeply traditional society.
