Augustine's (known the rest of the year as Augustine United Church) is located on George IVth Bridge (C3 on the map below). It is a "working" church, but during the Festival it is adapted to provide two performance spaces.

The public area of the building is on two levels. On the entrance level is a large reception area, which houses the Box Office and Coffee Bar, and the Sanctuary, a large studio with raked seating for 110. Extra seats can be added on the floor in front of the rake to bring the total capacity up to 120. There are public toilets on this level. There is also a toilet in the Vestry. This is out-of bounds to both the public and PGP staff. The Sanctuary has a balcony (not a public access area), which is where the control desks for the sound and lighting are located, and which is used for storing large set and props.

On the lower level is a 105 seater studio space. This level also contains the PGP office, and a large kitchen which is used as the main dressing room in this venue. There are toilets for staff and theatre company members on this level.

The very bottom level of the building has a further toilet, a small store, and an exit to Merchant Street (which passes underneath George IV Bridge to join Candlemaker Row).

Disabled access to the George IV Bridge entrance level (including the Sanctuary) is reasonable, with a ramp available for wheelchair users.

The church has a lift from the George IV Bridge Street Level to the Lower Level. This is used during the festival for disabled access to the studio. Access to the rest of the lower level (eg the office) is by staircase only when the studio is in use.
