How Do You Solve a Problem Like Britain?
By: Anthony Fairweather and various composers
Company: Anthony Fairweather Entertainments

How Do You Solve a Problem Like Britain? It's a difficult question, after all where do you start? But there is a man for job! In poems, prose and satirical songs, join Christopher Fairweather as he takes a hilarious look at some of the problems facing Britain today. Topics include TV, transport, drink, dustbins, money and members of parliament, with some unique solutions guaranteed! The musical style for the show is (in part) a modern twist on the likes of Flanders & Swann and Tom Lehrer. With the poems, the rhyming and rhythmic style is the order of the day, with some skewed observations thrown in! The evening ends with the overall solution to the problem of Britain, with the aid of Jupiter from the Planet Suite as you have never heard it before! Christopher sincerely hopes you can come along and enjoy the show...after all, why be depressed about the state of Britain when you can come and laugh at it?
