Contrasting gangland culture with Shakespeare’s traditional language our adaptation of Othello explores the use of peer-pressure and knife-crime in a modern urban setting. Drawing parallels between the established verse and today’s rap our production will not only delight Shakespeare fans but also introduce a fresh audience to this ageless tragedy.
