The Vault is a purpose built venue, converted in 2007 from a storage area at the bottom of the building containing the Augustine United Church (and the Augustine's venue).

The Vault has its own entrance in Merchant Street.

As well as the performance area the space has a reception area with toilets, box office and snack bar facilities.

The Vault also has storage space used year-around by Paradise Green, some of which is available during the festival for storage of companies set/props.

The conversion into a theatre uses the original features of the building to provide an atmospheric and interesting venue.

Owing to high demand for The Vault, in 2008 we opened up a second space adjacent to the Vault. The new space, The Vault Annexe, shares box office, foyer, catering and toilet facilities with The Vault. This space operates only during the Fringe and is equipped to a slightly more basic level.
