The Vault is a brand new purpose built venue, converted in 2007 from an old storage area at the bottom of the building containing the Augustine United Church (and the Augustine's venue).
The Vault has its own entrance in Merchant Street.
As well as the performance area the space has a reception area with toilets, box office and coffee bar facilities.
The Vault also has storage space used year-around by Paradise Green, some of which is available during the festival for storage of companies set/props.
The conversion into a theatre uses the original features of the building to provide an atmospheric and interesting venue.
Owing to high demand for The Vault, in 2008 we are opening up a second space in the same floor. The new space, The Vault Annexe, shares box office, foyer, catering and toilet facilities with The Vault.
