Our two venues are located within 200 metres of one another, in Edinburgh's Old Town - just around the corner from the Royal Mile and the Fringe Office.
Augustine's is a conversion for the festival period, and is a church the rest of the year, whilst The Vault is a purpose built small-scale theatre space.
The Vault tends to cater for smaller scale and more experimental productions, whilst Augustine's, with its larger spaces and higher technical specifications, tends to be programmed with more established groups and/or works. However our programming policy is flexible and we will attempt to programme according to the needs of the show and group, not hard and fast rules.
